That’s a wrap! The Conrad Runners got another picture perfect day for the DIAA State Championship XC Meet at Brandywine Creek State Park, where the girls finished 12th in D2 (out of 19 scoring teams) and the boys finished 13th in D2 (out of 25 scoring teams).
Leading the girls was junior Alyssa Napier who finished 9th in her race (11th in the state), earning her All-State honors to cap off an outstanding season. Freshman Sebastian Bergstrasser led the boys with a 5th place finish in his race (7th in the state), also earning All-State honors. Both athletes ran lightning fast times, setting Conrad course records.
Special shout out to ALL our seniors – Zoey Cyr, Rana Jackson, and Rory Gillin; Ryan Williamson, Joey Dello Buono, Dom Necastro, Tyler Sullivan, and Aidan Hawley – who competed in the final XC race of their HS careers. You will all be missed!
