Just months after the wildfire on Maui, there is now a new wildfire on Oahu. This one hasn’t claimed any lives or homes, but it is destroying irreplaceable native forestland. This is causing two dozen fragile species home’s to be non existent. The cause of these wildfires are severe drought fueled by climate change. The fire burned 2.5 square miles since being found on October 30th. As of Friday November 10th, it was 90% contained.
