During this month of December, Delaware finally had a snowy day. For the last few years, the amount of snow has decreased due to global warming and the changes in precipitation. This year and years before, the weather predictions had changed from snow, to instead, rain. And we will likely see that this year too. Last Thursday, it snowed for the first time since last winter although it only lasted a limited amount of time and the snow disappeared the next hour, as it turned into constant rain. In the future, we will see that snow is likely to completely vanish in Delaware in the next few years, as well as the cold. As global warming rises, the more the heat will rise in eastern states like ours. As for 2024, the events that may fall are unclear, but it is known that for years to come, it will only get hotter.

Mia McKinnon, HS Reporter
Hi, my name is Mia McKinnon and I'm an 11th grader at CSS. I decided to join journalism because I've always loved to read, write, and share the truth with others because I believe that people should know the full picture of everything, good or bad. I will do my best to provide that to the Conrad Howler. My pathway is Physical Therapy, and I enjoy reading about world issues and learning about how to solve them. I look forward to this year in journalism, it will give me and many others the joy and creativity to help people look through a different lens to see another side of the picture the world paints for us.
