Congrats to the Conrad girls and boys T&F teams on their solid performances at the New Castle County Championship meet held at Abessenio Stadium and Tatnall. The athletes competed in rain and chilly wind on Friday night, but were rewarded with perfect running conditions on Saturday, where several athletes set personal best or season-best marks.
The girls finished in 10th out of 23 scoring teams, scoring 19 points. Scoring for the RedWolves were Kayla Williams (3rd in shot put, ALL COUNTY), Alyssa Napier (5th in 400m, 8th in 200m), and Jordan Blanck (6th in 800m). Also scoring points for the girls were the 4X8 relay (5th – Jordan Blanck, Penny Henderson, Addison Egan, and Alyssa Napier) and the 4X4 relay (8th – Jordan Blanck, Shalom Che, Penny Henderson, and Alyssa Napier). The boys finished in 24th – shout out to Nick Denisco for his personal best mark in discus, earning him 8th place.
