Florida State football has not come off to a good start this 2024 season after starting off 0-2 and dropping from #10 ranked to unranked in the NCAA College Football poll. They started their year off losing to unranked Georgia Tech and unranked Boston College. Many fans believe that Senior Quarterback transfer DJ Uiagalelei is the problem, after having a very underwhelming start, only throwing for a combined 465 yards and 1 touchdown with 1 interception. He was expected to have a high rushing upside however he has a measly 2 yards on 14 carries. This is the first time that the Seminoles have been outside of the top 25 poll since Week 9 of the 2022 season, snapping their 23 week streak. Florida states next match up is against unranked Memphis on Saturday, September 14th following their bye week in week 2.
