Trolly and subway operators have been working without contracts since Thursday, November 6th, 2024. After this incident, 4,500 people could possibly be on strike. SEPTA is not the only agency facing strikes around the city. AFSCME District Council 33 is also voting on whether to have a strike. The contract for the strike ends on November 18th, and voting is being placed on November 13th, 2024.
