On Sunday, November 19, 2017, the Conrad Biomed pathway hosted a B+ dinner event at the Cranston Fire Hall.  For those of you who don’t know what the B+ Foundation is, it’s an organization that raises money to support families affected by childhood cancer. Sometimes this money goes to paying rent, transportation costs, utility bills, while other times money is given to medical facilities to support research and development of new clinical trials.  The dinner was put on by Biomed Teacher, Robert Naylor, with the Biomed Juniors and Seniors students taking on the task of being servers, decorators, and ticket sellers.  The event was one big dinner from 4pm-8pm, with music from Conrad Graduates Jimmy Hudson and Dom Wayne, and a photo area for guests to show their support for the B+ Heros and local companies who supported the Biomed Pathway. Following the event, the Conrad Biomed pathway was able to write a check for $2,719 for Childhood Cancer, and will be presenting it at the UDance B+ event!  Conrad Biomed would like to thank everyone who came out to support and helped make this dinner event a tremendous success!
