Donald and Melinia Trump  recently caught COVID and left the whitehouse to stay in quarantine at the Walter Reed Medical Ceter, but have returned to the whitehouse after four days claiming he has never felt better. While in the hospital, Trump was given an experimental drug called Regeneron that he says made him feel better instantly, it worked so well he has been pushing the FDA to approve it as an emergency drug so that he can make the drug free to anyone with COVID. Trump already has thousands of these doses of medication ready and just needs the FDA approval, he also plans to have China pay for all these expenses, talking about how the entire ordeal is China’s fault, so they should be the ones to pay for it. The drug itself will not be the exact same one Trump received, but a very similar version by the company Eli Lilly. According to Twitter, this was Trump’s main message:  “But they are, in my opinion, they are, remember this, that they are therapeutic; and I guess they are, some people don’t know how to define therapeutic, I view it differently, it’s a cure. For me, I walked in, I didn’t feel good, a short 24 hours later, I went to get out of the hospital. And that’s what I want for everybody, I want everybody to be given the same treatment as your president.”. Trump concludes this speech saying that him catching the virus was a blessing from God in disguise because it led him to find this medicine. But whether or not he can get it into the hospitals for free like he plans to, all we can do is wait and hope for a cure to come in soon!
