17 people, including children, died in an apartment fire in the Bronx, New York. More than a dozen people are critically injured and hospitals are working hard to save them. There are investigations on why an automatic door did not close, and the fire started on the third floor. The fire started from a mattress that was close to a malfunctioning electric heater. Neighbors have rushed to those affected by the fire and gave them spare clothes, and the firefighters said that this was the most horrific fire that they have seen.
