    Childhood Cancer Awareness Month

    Childhood+Cancer+Awareness+Month

Forty-seven children in the United States are diagnosed with cancer every day. Families are destroyed by the heartbreak and trauma that comes with the possibility their children won’t be able to make it through their childhood years. You can help stop this horrific disease by donating or supporting your local childhood cancer non-profits.

    Travis Kusters, Reporter
Hi, my name is Travis Kusters. I am in 11th grade, my 6th year at Conrad. Both my brothers and cousins, Katie and Bella Kusters have graduated from Conrad. I have my own vegetable garden that I take much pride in. My mom runs a non-profit on the side of her full-time job. The non-profit is in memory of my brother who passed away in June  2017. We are having our 5th annual 5k in support of childhood cancer. The race is held at Rockford park on September 17th.
