Boy in the Box Identified

Boy+in+the+Box+Identified

The young boy found in a box in 1957 Philadelphia has been identified.  The identity belongs to Joseph Augustus Zarelli.  He was four years old at the time of his murder.  The announcement was made by the Philadelphia Police Department after 65 years of searching.  Joseph Augustus Zarelli’s parents have both died since then, but there are still relatives around. Despite his identity being found once again, the manner of his death and who caused it is still being investigated.  What is known is the state of the young boy at the time of his body being found.  He was found beaten and bruised, naked, with a hastily completed haircut inside a cardboard box.  The Philadelphia PD continues to pursue thousands of leads until the young boy can finally be put peacefully to rest.
