    Book Review: Wonder

    Book Review: Wonder

Wonder  is a story about a young boy who has a challenging journey to go through. August, the young boy, is faced with different disabilities that lead others to stare and ‘wonder’. The book starts out with August’s parents wanting him to go to a real school for middle school. However, August was home schooled his whole life and he doesn’t want to go to a real school. Along the way through his middle school journey he meets people that are kind and don’t care about his features  and he meets people who only want the worst for him. He makes connections with people, however, whoever befriends him is automatically a target for bullying. This book was a great book to read when I was bored or in the mood for something uplifting, even with his medical illnesses, it’s not always a sad book. You will be happy you’ve read it.
