Today, Thursday the 20th, a rocket created for missions to Mars and the Moon exploded on a livestream. Luckily there was nobody inside. The issue was that the rocket flew up for 4 minutes until the separation of the booster sitting atop the rocket failed. Some of the 33 engines from the booster also failed to ignite. The rocket then dropped downwards some before exploding. This Starship rocket will be the most powerful ever developed and it will play a part in NASA’s Artemis program, which is planning to put humans on the moon by 2025.
