Does sugar make kids hyperactive?

Does+sugar+make+kids+hyperactive%3F

The question is does sugar make you hyper. I am here to inform you that it doesn’t. It’s a myth. The myth is based on a study from the mid 1970’s when a doctor changed one kid’s diet and took sugar out of it and it improved his behavior. Many parents tell their kids that sugar makes them hyperactive and they believe them. When they believe them and they eat anything with sugar they start acting hyperactive but it’s all in their heads. This is called the placebo effect.
