Childrens Gun Mortality

Is the US deaths from guns in children and teens has been at an all time high as of recent cases. These deaths involve suicide and homicide. As of 2021, there are around 2,279 deaths caused by suicide, and 1,078 deaths caused by homicide. The most targeted children are black or African American. 17 out of the 100,000 victims whose deaths were caused by guns were African American. 6.1% were American Indian and Alaskan natives, 3.3% were Hispanic, 2.9% were White, 2.6% were more than one race, and 1.1% were Asian.  Guns are the blame for 19% of childhood deaths as of 2021.
