On a picture-perfect fall day at Bellevue, our Conrad runners saw their hard work pay off, as nearly every runner ran a season PR! We started our season with a scrimmage at Bellevue back in August – runners can view their time comparisons here.
AMAZING progress – way to go!
Sebastian Bergstrasser led the boys team, breaking his own school record (16:50.29) and finishing 17th out of a field of 259 runners. For the first time this season, our top 5 scoring boys varsity runners went under 20:00 helping the boys finish in 16th out of 38 scoring teams.
Alyssa Napier led the girls, finishing in 10th out of 219 runners and running a season’s best 19:34.5. The girls finished 18th out of 29 scoring teams.
The team is officially in championship season and looks ready for the DSAC Championship meet on 10/24, New Castle County Championship meet on 11/4, and DIAA State Championship meet on 11/11.
