Maine Mass Shooting

Maine+Mass+Shooting

A U.S. Army reservist named Robert Card shot 18 people at a bowling alley in Lewiston, Maine. This shooting marks the 36th shooting in America this year. President Biden is now trying to convince congress to ban assault weapons because of how dangerous they are. There was a sigh of relief from the Maine residents after finding out the killer was dead. Mr. Card was said to have mental issues which is part of the reason why the police department thinks he did it. If the gun ban happens, will the mass shootings stop or will they continue?
