Some teachers have been refusing their kids’ need to use the bathroom and nothing is being done about it. Many teachers will say “Not now I am teaching” but also say no when they are not teaching. This has happened to me many times in Mr. Oleksys and Mrs. Blohm. I am not saying all teachers do this, just that it does happen. Now in Mrs. Blohm’s room, you can only go to the bathroom twice a marking period. Teachers shouldn’t be allowed to deny a student the right to go to the bathroom. It’s like telling our bodily function “No”. This is not right.

Hi, my name is Aoife Tierney and I'm in 6th grade. One fun fact about me is that I love soccer and the swim team. I play both of those outside of school. I enjoy writing and reading, so I'm glad I got into the school newspaper. My favorite class right now is band.
