Entrepreneur and founder of FTX Sam Bankman Fried, or SBF, has finally been found guilty on all seven counts of fraud and money laundering. He is now facing a maximum prison sentence of a staggering 110 years. SBF got rich faster than almost anyone in history. He amassed almost $26 billion in personal wealth, and became the richest human under the age of 30. He was featured on countless magazine covers, had significant political influence, and was even the second highest donor to democrats in the previous US presidential election.
The Jury reached their unanimous verdict in less than five hours, and found him guilty of embezzling over 8 billion dollars of his customers’ money.
