As of November 15th, 3 pandas are gonna be sent back to China. The three pandas are Mei Xiang, Tian Tian, and their cub Xiao Qi Ji. They are being sent back sooner than expected. The loan agreement for the last pandas is to expire next year. This could cause the United States to not have any pandas. This would be the first time without pandas since 1972. The United States isn’t the only country to be facing this. Britain and Australia are also having to send their last pandas back by next year.
