Rosalynn Carter Dies

On November 19, 2023, former first lady, Rosalynn Carter, sadly passed away at the age of 96 years old. Information disclosed on May 30th revealed that she and her husband were living at their home in Plains and had entered hospice stay at home care. Rosalynn Carter was the second longest lived first lady following Bess Truman, at age 97. Jimmy Carter holds the record of being the oldest president at the age of 99. On Wednesday, Mrs. Carter was laid to rest in Plains, Georgia where she was honored by her loved ones. Her cause of death was due to natural causes as she lived to be 96 years old.
