NFL Playoff Picture

NFL+Playoff+Picture

Sunday marks the last week of the regular NFL season, but what will the postseason look like? This article will help break down all playoff pictures and see which teams we could see in Vegas!

Currently, the Ravens hold & clinched the top seed in the AFC, guaranteeing a first-round bye and home-field advantage. Likewise, the 49ers have & clinched the top seed in the NFC, ensuring home-field benefit & a first-round bye.

In the AFC, the Dolphins, Chiefs, & Browns all secured a playoff spot, with the Dolphins & Chiefs leading their divisions. In the NFC, the Cowboys, Lions, Eagles, and Rams secured playoff berths, with Dallas leading in the NFC East & with the Lions clinching the NFC North. Playoff teams in the hunt in the AFC include Buffalo, Jacksonville, and Indianapolis, while in the NFC playoffs, teams in the search include Tampa Bay and Green Bay. Both are expected to make the playoffs if they win on Sunday.

However, teams on the cusp of making the playoffs include the Texans & the Steelers in the AFC, while the Seahawks, Saints, Vikings, and Falcons in the NFC. While it’s not guaranteed that these teams will make the playoffs, the chance is not 100% eliminated, as some of these teams need other teams to lose or win out to be guaranteed a spot. Teams eliminated in the playoffs include Denver, Cincinnati, Las Vegas, New England, NYJ & NYG, Tennessee, LAC, Chicago, Washington, Arizona, and Carolina.

There are some odds that teams can switch places regarding their divisions. For instance, if Philadelphia wins against NYG & if Dallas loses to Washington, Philadelphia can win their division in the east. In another example, Buffalo can also win their division if Miami loses to them. Or even in the AFC South, where Jacksonville stands at the top, with Indianapolis looming over, winning their division if they win and if Jacksonville loses.

Who is going to win & go to Vegas? Only the luck & chances of 14 teams will tell.
