October 1st marked the beginning of Breast Cancer Awareness Month. For this occasion, Conrad has had several “Pink Out¨ games(a game in which the players wear at least one clothing item that’s pink) in honor of individuals battling, or those who have battled breast cancer. The pink ribbon is associated with breast cancer because in 1991 Charlotte Haley, a grassroots activist and breast cancer survivor, was trying to raise awareness about the lack of federal funding for cancer prevention.
