On Tuesday, November 1st, 2022, rapper Kirsnik Khari Ball, professionally known as Takeoff, passed away. He was shot after a game of dice early in the morning in Houston, Texas. An altercation between rapper Quavo occurred and once things got heated it was reported that someone let off 5 shots. Unfortunately, once medical officials arrived Takeoff was pronounced dead at the scene. Takeoff was a very successful rapper, especially when it came to being part of the rap group Migos, with his uncle Quavo and cousin Offset. Many rappers including Drake, MeekMill, Roddy Rich, Chance the Rapper, and Snoop Dogg have expressed condolences. He will be missed by friends and family, but especially by his fans. This was a tragic event, and we hope Takeoff is now in a better place resting in peace.
