It was announced that E Hall-Pass would be introduced to Conrad at the beginning of the year. The way E-HallPass works is to use the restroom; a student must first go on their computer, log in to their E-Hall pass, select their bathroom destination, select where they are leaving from, and send a request to their teacher to approve the submission. Then, the teacher will receive an audible notification and stop teaching a class to approve the pass. This process would take about 1-3 minutes on average, and only 1 student is allowed in the bathroom at a time per class. This system was put in place to limit the amount of time students spend in the bathroom and to inform the administration who was in the bathroom at what times. Once a student went to the bathroom, their computer would also show the rest of the class how long they were in the bathroom. As a student who has been subjected to this system, I can confirm this system has been ineffective.
E-HallPass Should Be History
