Many Harry Potter fans eagerly awaited the release of the new video game Hogwarts Legacy a title mired in controversy due to comments by series creator J.K. Rowling about transgender people. Fans have since boycotted the game over what they see as Rowling’s anti-trans views. They “banned” Hogwarts because of the views of some people views on the author of the books. I have seen people say the creator is detached from the art, and they don’t have anything to do with each other. She has not put her views into the game. Some people don’t know why they are doing it because J.K. Rowling was not involved in the creation of the game, but as the creator of the wizarding world and one of the world’s greatest storytellers, her extraordinary body of writing is the foundation of all projects in the Wizarding World. This is not a new story from J.K.
