Rapper, songwriter, and record producer Eminem tells aspiring Republican presidential candidate Vivek Ramaswamy to stop rapping his songs. The rap star has requested via the Recording Records Organization, also known as BMI, that the politician does not use any of the rap star’s music. This letter comes only a few days after the politician improvised a performance to “Lose Yourself” at the Iowa State Fair. The letter states that the company received a statement from Eminem: “BMI will consider any performance of the Eminem works by the Vivek 2024 campaign from this date forward to be a material breach”.
