Gareth Edwards, who directed the Star Wars blockbuster Rogue One, has a new sci-fi thriller coming out in theaters this weekend, called “The Creator.” This movie takes place in a dystopian future, where A.I. has taken over the world and is at war against humans. The protagonist, Joshua, who is played by John David Washington, is a human soldier. Joshua finds a robot in the form of a young child, which he believes can be used as a secret weapon against the A.I.
In an effort to promote the new movie, the filmmakers had real A.I. Humans infiltrate the week 1 NFL game in SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, CA. The A.I. were wearing Los Angeles Chargers gear and were cheering along with the crowd. It worked as a publicity stunt to catch the eyes of confused and curious onlookers.
