The Boy and The Heron

The+Boy+and+The+Heron

The latest Studio Ghibli film “The Boy And The Heron,” directed by Hayao Miyazaki, presents all of Miyazaki’s best and most unique ideas in one film. From the building of another beautiful world to random creatures that move in odd ways “The Boy And The Heron” represents what makes Miyazaki, Miyazaki. As for the main character, Mahito is a young 12-year-old boy and a bearer of his mother’s recent death. But in the climax of his depression, a Heron comes and informs him that his mother still lives. Thereupon finding this out, the film follows Mahito and the Heron through an alternate world in search of his mother.

Hello my name is Jackson Caltuna. This is my 6th year attending Conrad Schools of Science, I chose the Bio- Tech pathway and chose Chinese as my language. When im not at school or doing school work I enjoy admiring and driving cars. I don’t care if they are slow or fast, but they need to be sceaming. Furthermore, from styles of cars to philosophy I carry a hefty influence of japanese culture. Which includes the influence of art, philosophy, city pop, music, etc.
