Currently, the city of Glendale, Arizona, is being renamed to “Swift city”. This change is temporary and symbolic of Taylor Swift’s incoming Eras Tour, which starts on Friday and Saturday. It was announced by the major on Monday, who’s city has a population of 248,000. It’s been announced that she will be performing shows back-to-back at Glendale’s State Farm Arena. An estimated 70,000 people attend each show, and some restaurants and bars in the area will serve Taylor Swift-themed menu items to celebrate.
