“The Super Mario Bros. Movie” is releasing 2 days before its original release date. It is releasing on Wednesday, April 5 instead of its planned date of Friday, April 7. Usually, movies are delayed, but this is the exact opposite of that. It seems like Nintendo and Illumination are trying to squeeze some more money out of this.
The cast looks very good for this movie and it seems that Nintendo and illumination took some time with this cast, with Chris Pratt voicing our beloved Goomba-pummeling plumber, Anya Taylor-Joy as Princess Peach, Charlie Day as Luigi, Seth Rogen as our marvelous monkey, Donkey Kong, Keegan-Michael Key as Toad, and Jack Black voicing the evil Bowser. So now the question is, are Nintendo and Illumination just trying to make some money, or is this movie going to be a Mario-tastic masterpiece? You decide!
