Conrad HOSA Future Health Professionals had a very successful week at the Delaware State Leadership Conference March 27th-31st held at the University of Delaware STAR Campus. Fifty-five students competed in 17 events with 34 qualifying for the International Leadership Conference being held at the Disney Coronado Springs Resort June 21st-24th. They will compete and network with students from all over the United States, American Samoa, Canada, Mexico, and Puerto Rico. Highlights of the conference included the PSA team winning back-to-back gold medals, the #9 seeded HOSA Bowl team defeating the #1 seed in the second round and going on to win the bronze medal, and the freshman First Aid and CPR team taking the gold medal. In addition, the Conrad chapter was awarded the HOSA Spirit Award for enthusiasm and sportsmanship throughout the conference. Congratulations to all and good luck in Orlando!
