The long tenured band U2 was the first party to perform in the sold out arena of The Sphere in Las Vegas on September 29th, 2023. Inside the dome, viewers are met by the world’s highest resolution LED wraparound screen which covers the audience in mind-bending displays. The visuals range from flying through portals, performing on clouds, and more. The Sphere is fitted with more than 165,000 speakers, so that the sound is delivered equally to every seat in the building. The seats are equipped with vibration abilities to match whatever is going on in the show. Wind, scent, and even temperature effects can be generated in The Sphere to heighten the experience.
