Unknown Illness Affecting Dogs In the U.S.

Unknown+Illness+Affecting+Dogs+In+the+U.S.

As of right now, there is an unknown respiratory illness that has been troubling dogs in at least 14 states. Researchers are trying to figure out if the disease is viral or bacterial. Symptoms of this mystery disease include coughing, which can last up to 6 weeks, and cause bronchitis and/or pneumonia. There is very little indication that this disease can spread to humans, but vets are giving dog owners a warning to be careful when around their sick dogs.
