On Thursday, February 22, at 12:07 p.m. the police received a call from a concerned friend who was worried about her friend due to her being gone for too long. 30 minutes later she was found with injuries in the back of Lake Herrick. She was determined dead and this caused an alert to go out to UGA. Georgia later canceled class and let everyone out in order to conduct an investigation. There was another murder committed Wednesday at the campus. Were these 2 murders linked or are they just tragic ironies?
