Sea Sponges Show Progression of Climate change

Sea Sponges Show Progression of Climate change

A study was done using Sclerosponges, which are temperature tracking organisms in the ocean. They have measured that the world is 1.7 degrees c warmer in the past 300 years. These sponges are showing it to be more than half a degree warmer than the scientist that has been studying it said. Scientists have said that it would take a lot of data to have them change their mind on the system they have called the Preindustrial Baseline. This baseline has been a thing since the early 1900s.
